San Pedro

Restaurante San Pedro is located right outside the San Pedro Claver Church. It is an amazing restaurant serving Asian inspired cuisine. You can dine inside or outside in the plaza between the church and the restaurant. The atmosphere outside is very romantic and its a great place to people watch. Every now and again you may even see a wedding. You can here the clomping of the horse drawn carriages on the cobblestone streets right outside the church. The view of the church is magnificent at night. If your nice to your waiter he may even invite you to go up to the restaurant's rooftop where you can see the church in all its glory. This is a very busy plaza during the day and at night and the restaurant is a favorite of the locals. All along the perimeter of the restaurant are iron sculptures depicting everyday life. The restaurant is also across from an art museum which is open late- so you can check it out before or after dinner.
They close at 2pm and reopen at 5pm so if your heading that way for a late lunch you should get there before it closes. They have a coconut pie that is to die for.
This place is always full so its a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation.
