Two weeks in a beach villa on Amergris Caye. The people are very friendly, not your typical "tourist trap". The town, San Pedro, has everything you would need to make your visit comfortable. Not as cheap as some places I have been, but I AM going back next year!!!

Went to San Pedro for a night which was like going from a small town to a major city. There was a lot more people there and it even had paved roads - which is a notable absentee in Caye Caulker. There were also proper cars and of course lots of golf carts on the go as well. Didnt really get up too …

Our travels take us around the world, most often to be able to scuba dive and adventure within our oceans. This blog will share our thoughts on the trips and destinations themselves, as well as show off some of what we see (both above and below the water).
Hope you enjoy!

Woke up early this morning to more rain and panicked. Luckily, upon waking up later I found the rain had finally stopped. That meant our Hol-Chan snorkeling tour was still one.
We headed off to the Caye Caulker Bakery for breakfast, stopping to pick up OJ at Glenda's. We were issued flippers and m…

7 days were not enough. I saw two Mayan ruins, visited a rain forest, ate the local food, spent some in time in the famous San Pedro - La Isla Bonita, ate ice cream at Spanish look out and soooo much more.... But its late so I'm going to have to update this blog later tomorrow. For now just enjoy the photos, and just know that I had such a wonderful time that I'm already planning another trip next summer or spring.
