If you have the chance to travel to this amazing little town- do it! It is a bit out of the ways, and is in the middle of nowhere- but it was one of the funnest places I saw in Chile. Visit and buy local crafts from the artisan "marketplace"- definitely visit here! Eat some great and cheap food, and grab a Chilean beer at one the many little restaurants and bars. Try visiting the bar (I can't remember the name) with a giant fire pit in the middle of the bar- this place gets really lively and can be quite fun- especially when any soccer games are playing on TV. Take a short drive out of the town to visit the Valle de la Luna- the landscape of this location is amazing. Best to visit here to watch the sunset over the desert- absolutely amazing- hike up giant sand dunes to watch a most unforgettable sunset.
