My favorite site in all of Italy is San Miniato. It is a church overlooking Florence that was built in 1015. San Miniato's age allows it to feature artwork from many eras, while its semi-remote location keeps it from being mobbed by tourists. Best of all, the beauty is not limited to the artwork and architecture. When you stand outside, you have an amazing view of Florence and Tuscany.
When you are done visiting San Miniato, it is fun to walk back to the center of Florence. |

Like I said before, wow. It’s hard to digest… I've been here for how long? |
