San Marcos Square Reviews

After traveling from place to place for a couple days...we stopped in Venice, it was great. Everyone says it smells but they are wrong...it didn't smell at all. The only problem was that it was very hard to navigate between the streets over the canals. It was like a maze.
But San Marcos Square is really a place to see. It is not the party scene but after too much partying, everyone needs a place like this to relax. They have relaxing live music and many tables where you can sit with friends and eat and drink some wine. Part of the Europe Trip 2005 travel blog |

The music certainly added to the already terrific atmosphere. Thank you Trent!

When we got to the end of the line we were right in between St. Marco square and San Giorgio Maggiore island. What a great place to be. The first thing I noticed that St Marco square had a mild case… Arriving in Venice, start of our cruise |

famous duomo and looks absolutely gorgeous. They have restaurants
lining the sides with chairs set up in the square. They have live bands
that play Italian music. It was so picturesque… Venice here we come |
