of the Dead, where a complex called the Ciudadela—a sunken plaza large enough to
hold most of the city's inhabitants—was centered on t…

We got up early and took the subway and a bus to the ancient Aztec city of Teotihuacán. This is the largest pre-Hispanic city in Mexico, and almost the entire former religious centre has been restored. This is another place I had already visited three and a half years ago, but as it was o…

We got up at 7am today to head out to the Pyramids! This was both our first metro trip as well as our first bus trip to this area approximately 1 hour outside Mexico City. A lot of things strike me about Mexico City, and the first one is how kind and helpful people are. A nice young man helped us f…

I had a great time, well except for the almost death experience in Acapulco parasailing. The only thing I didn't like about going to Mexico was that I stuck out... tall and blonde aren't common there.
