impressive hotel entrance with a rainforest theme complete with a waterfall.. hotel lobby is grand with nice seating area to wait your turn at reception or just waiting for a guest from the hotel room upstairs.. hotel personnel are very well dressed & hotel detectives are very well dressed in conspicuous places all over the hotel.. the resort area has a large jacuzzi, swimming pool with several waterfalls, lots of lounging seats, bars, an elevated wooden veranda like structure with seats to enjoy the ocean view & Isla Verde beach.. there are also loungers available for hotel guests for the beach area & seating tables&chairs on the beach where you can order food & drinks..

the hotel rooms we were in, had the view of the ocean & the resort & the Isla Verde Beach, the other rooms had the city view i guess.. very big comfortable soft beds king sized pillows with a large impressive heavy wood & leather brass studded headboards, could be 42" flat LCD-HDTV LG television sets adjustable to be viewed at any angle with pay-per-view & Internet connection on TV with wireless keyboard.. all furnishings are classy & detailed.. bathrooms are done in marble with adequate closets & a dresser section with lighted mirrors & hairdryer & a separate make-up magnifying lighted mirror.. personal ref, coffee maker with complete coffee supplies, iron/ironing board, no microwave sorry but you get a menu for room service.. nice touch was the complimentary fruit assortment to welcome you.. the bathroom supply of soap,shampoo,conditioner,lotion smelled really good & had classy packaging.. towels were relatively new & soft & fluffy to the feel & always in ample supply.. i liked that they thought of putting a full length mirror in the room in a spot right before you would exit the front door! the elevators are fully lined with mirrors & speedy plus quiet.. the hotel corridors were beautifully carpeted with nice sitting area to wait for the elevators.. oh yes, the fitness center has new & good machines & they have spa service..

room service is prompt, front desk calls in the morning & early evening to check if you need anything or if you have any complaints, & you can ask tourist info without feeling that you are bothering the person on the other line.. & another nice touch is the instant service button on the hotel telephone where you get a live person in seconds to help you!

i love this hotel & would gladly come back soon.. you should try it when you visit San Juan PR!
