My final day in Costa Rica! I got up late, enjoying a lye in and having no reason to get up early.
Finally I got up, and had breakfast in the hostel restaurant. I then idled out to the garden, dropped into a hammock and sunbathed/ read my book. Deciding I couldn't be lazy all day, I got myself to…

Well, I spent the last 30 mins writing a (IMHO) very entertaining blog. I hit publish and now it's nowhere to be found. So just some pics for now. I will give it another try as soon as my blood pressure is back to normal. :) Pics of the Tabacon/Arenal Hot Springs on the Arenal page.

I have decided to skip Liberia in northern Costa Rica, as there is little there to interest me, and it would probably end up being a wasted day. I was interested when it was just a provincial captial, but when I realised that there are now gazillions of flights coming from the states into thi…

Welcome to my lovely circuit around the Latin world. I designed the trip around seeing a few of the rare wonders of the world that few people ever imagine experiencing. I hope you enjoy a vicarious thrill by following my short trip through the west coast of our Spanish speaking neighbors.

Only one week in this amazing country. Arenal 3 days and then a 3 hrs bus to Cahuitas in Limon state for 3 more days. Spend the last day in San Jose, wich I am glad I did so, since there isn't to much to see.
By far, the best seafood ever!!!
