Well. We finally got to Mexico. I say we because there were six of us. It was hot. And Humid. And I Sweat. A Lot. Enough said.  This was starting off to be a great trip to Mexico.  If we were having a sweating contest, I was definitely in the lead.  The bad news... doesn't matter where you go in Cabo, it's a sixty dollar cab ride. Everywhere.  And everything is 40 minute drive. The good news... the cab drivers always stopped for beer for the ride.  The bad news...&...

I know... Mexico again. We eat at Javier's here in Laguna once or twice a week, and when we heard that he opened a restaurant in San Jose del Cabo we hopped on the first flight down there. Even though the resort "Cabo Azul" was still under construction, it was fabulous.

Beautiful spot...like stepping back in time. Great if you want to get away from the tourist stuff or go for a dive.

Left San Diego for Tijuana on the 26th of April ! The Route 66 together with finishing my errands added too much stress and I had to really relax before taking off for my Mexican trip.
