Samui Amanda Resort
Samui Amanda Resort Reviews
Dec 30, 2006An amazing place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of other tourist resorts and resort cities in Thailand. Samui Amanda Resort is nestled into the island on the shores of its own private and secluded beach. The resort has an amazing buffet breakfast that is included with the bungalow rental and the food & drinks at the restaurant are FANTASTIC, complete with a duo performing world music nightly during dinner and often accepting requests and doing intimate tableside serenades! We didn't leave the resort at all during our 3 days there! My only complaints are that the internet cost was pricey, compared to other places in Thailand-- 2 Baht per minute, and that the number of reclining chairs by the pool seem to be a bit limited and fill up quickly, so one needs to get out early to reserve one during high season for tourism. I believe all bungalows are air conditioned. Don't be discouraged if ocean view bungalows are not available. The garden view are also very nice and the whole complex is set up in a village-like setting with each bungalow being only a few short meters (a few steps) from the ocean. You will love it here!
