Samsen Skyline Hostel Bangkok Reviews
Not Bad Feb 07, 2015
Just down the road from the Khaosan Immjai lies the Skyline, which immediately to the eye looks much less nice, and surely proved to be.
There is a small common area downstairs, but it is used by the hostel staff to cook food for which they sell outside, a negative if you are looking for an area to congregate.
Lockers are small, beds are hard and uncomfortable, but the rooms are 4 bed dorms, which are smaller than alternatives for the same price.
Thea rea has a large open area upstairs that has tables and is nice to hang out at, but is about 6 stories up, and several people have not even realized it was there.
Not a bad place, but for similar price alternatives are better. Try Khaosan Immjai down the road, though it is 14 bed dorms instead of 4, experience is much better, especially for solo travelers.
