Samasati Nature Retreat (Costa Rica) - an exquisite eco resort set amidst tropical rainforest on Costa Rica's Caribbean coastline (there's not many upmarket hotels on Costa Rica's Caribbean - this is one of the few). Whether you're a nature lover, or want to relax and practice yoga, this could be a great retreat for you. Other activities include surfing, birdwatching, rainforest tours, visits to indigenous communities, visits to local shamans, horseback riding, rafting and more. The atmosphere at Samasati is great. Because it’s not build on a large scale you get to know all the guests individually, as well as the staff. And the guests that come here are friendly and open-minded. I am more than welcome to eat my dinner at the table with other guests or the staff. Most of the people stay for a week and after that go to another location in Costa Rica to see some of the country. There are also guests that don’t practice yoga. For them there’s also enough to experience! The Caribbean coast is only 15 minutes drive away!
