My friend and I went to Salt Lake City to see a World Cup qualifying match between the U.S. and Costa Rica. While we were there we also went to Antelope State Park on an island in the Great Salt Lake, to Fossil Butte Monument in Wyoming, and to Bear Lake State Park in Idaho.

Tom and I trekked to Utah for a weekend ... with no plans! :) We happened to find an olympic style bobsledding competition, walked Park City, checked out the Mormon tabernacle, and visited the beautiful Salt Lake.
