Salt Beef Travel Reviews

Feb 09, 2006
When in London I like a place called Salt Beef in the ground floor of Selfridges dept. store. While not roast beef here in the US it is more like corned beef. Carved hot and fresh you order a small, large, or big. Not cheap but what in London is. Love the sandwiches.

slanger says: Amazing cafe in Earls Court, just off Old Brompton Road. Really cool, eclectic place, great for people watching and hanging out
Jess says: Sure the shopping is amazing, and the people watching is superbe, but the food is fantastic.  There are dozens of stalls, each with a different specialty.  My personal favorite was the indian - tikka masala!  It was the best.  It is like a food court only with better food.  ...
Ajita says: Almost as good as being in Italy, visit this place, right near Kings Cross tube/train station. They have an extensive, authentic menu, including pizza, pasta, various meat dishes and the obligatory Italian desserts! This is also a good place for veggies and the service is great.
