Salish Lodge & Spa Snoqualmie Reviews
The Luxurious Side of Twin Peaks Mar 06, 2015
Clearly stated this is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It's not cheap by any means but if you have the means and feel like splurging…this is the place to do it.
Guests of the hotel enjoy free valet parking, which I believe is the only option. If you aren't staying there I believe there is a minimal fee to park your vehicle.
As soon as you enter into the lobby you are immediately overwhelmed by the gorgeous wooden decor. Whoever designed this place made this the lodge of all lodges. You almost don't even want to leave the lobby.
The staff at the front desk are incredibly friendly and more than happy to give any advice or provide maps of the area. They know that they have a large base of clients who are there because of the Twin Peaks television show history and/or to view the waterfall. One of the items that they provided was a map of the area listing all the notable sights used in Twin Peaks that included the name you would recognize from watching the show and the actual real life name. It was very convenient.
My room was amazing. The bed was absurdly comfortable. Furnishings were outstanding. There was huge wood burning fireplace underneath the television set and in front of the bed. The bedroom led out to a stunning view of the garden. The entire room was immaculate. I'll include several photos so that you can see for yourself.
The restaurant and bar at the hotel that I went to twice was immensely enjoyable. The night I arrived I had clam chowder and a cheese plate. Both were delicious. The bartender recommended what I believe was their own brewed beer infused with honey which was also very tasty. Downstairs underneath that bar and restaurant was another restaurant in which I enjoyed a spinach, bacon, and cheese omelet that was huge and accompanied by home fries and biscuits with their signature honey for breakfast the next morning. Yum!
Oh yeah, and did I mention that the waterfall is right out back? Truly an incredible view.
Like I said…not cheap. But well worth it.
