Salisbury Hotel

Lovely clean room and very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was huge and the room was very spacious. Very close to sights. Just disappointed there wasn't any coffee making facilities in the room, however there is a Starbucks opposite!

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Times Square, but it was so much less expensive than nearby hotels that it made the walk worth it!

There were not alot of amenities, but so much is open early/late and closeby that you didn't even care. We frequented the grocery store a block up the road because it was open before 6am, and had fresh coffee brewing constantly.

The rooms are significantly larger than normal NYC hotel rooms because the building used to be apartments. So you have a seperate kitchenette and decent size bathroom. If you have stayed in NYC before, you know that space is at a premium, so this room was great!

The lobby is small and very plain, but don't let that deter you. It's affordable and clean, and very comfortable. The staff was helpful, plus they offered very affordable limo service ($45 to LaGuardia), while the airport service wanted $35 for a van with multiple other hotel pickups! What a value! What a ride!
