Dominating the city of Geneva but located in France is the Saleve mountain with its impressive cliffs facing the Jura mountains. The French-Swiss border runs parallel to the cliff, about one kilometre away from it. From the top of Saleve there is a beautiful 360 degree panorama with on one side Geneva, Lake Leman and the Jura, and on the other side the Alps and Mont Blanc.
