May-July 2007, I made a 3 month journey across parts of S.America starting from Brazil to Argentina, Bolivia & exiting Peru.
Uyuni was one of my many highlights. I met up with 3 Aussies & took a 3 day journey starting from Tupiza & ending in Uyuni. It was amazing but freaking freezing!!

1st Jun, Crossed the Bolivian border with the Great Danes (Niels and Tasja) who I met in Tilcara.. . Bussed to Tupiza that afternoon - not the same comfort we'd become accostomed to in Argentina but we made it in time to hook up a tour to the salt plains of Uyuni leaving the next morning.
