Saint Patrick's Cathedral Dublin Reviews
One of Dublin's finest cathedrals Sep 30, 2010
Founded in the twelfth century, St Patrick’s cathedral is one of Dublin’s finest and its largest cathedral too.
The choir music is well worth listening to if you arrive at the right time. It really makes the place feel alive and draws in the crowds too.
The interior is gothic. I really thought that the floor was beautifully done. Towards the side of the main altar, you can see old artefacts which relate to the cathedral somehow. The spire is one of the tallest I have seen and the cathedral is surrounded by these gardens where you can sit for a little while if you wish.
Entrance fee is around 6 Euros.
If you are into visiting Christian places of worship, whether for religious or artistic reasons, then this site is essential if you are in Dublin.
