Lying in the preamples of the Central Massif, this village is the heart of the famous St. Chinian wines. The central "caveau" stands here and in the summer there are plenty thing to do, in relationship with the rural life of course. It is still small in comparison with Narbonne, Beziers or Montpellier, but the localls enthousiastically organize little events.
There is a medium size market and some scattered bars, situated along the mainroad. This is the centre for some nice hikings through the vineyards.
