St. Bartholomew’s Church in the New York City Sep 12, 2013
St. Bartholomew’s Church is a New York City landmark hidden between many much high buildings in the mid Manhattan. Church is filled with great art pieces and beautiful golden mosaic. Church is pretty dark inside but you can still see that builders did not spare any expense to build super lavish interior. Outside church has a bit of the orthodox Byzantine look, but I think that it is actually Episcopal church. Very detailed stained glass windows are all over. I wish that I could get closer and study them a bit. Whole altar area glows golden. Church has really nice pipe organ that I would like to hear play. There was only few people inside when I passed by, and it is well worth seeing it.
