We found a pirate ship on White Beach - complete with skull and crossbones flag! - and as sailing was something we had been planning to do in Boracay, we aranged to book the boat for the next afternoon.
The Red Pirates paraw is skippered by the ever-friendly Captain Joey, who is rumoured to have the biggest smile in Boracay. He cheerfully took care of all our requirements for BBQ, beers and snorkeling gear, and even shopped for our food for no extra fee. Rest assured this guy won't rip you off, unlike some others offering activities on the beach.
We ended up sailing all around the island, stopping at beaches such as Puka Beach and Crocodile Rock for swimming and snorkeling. Our BBQ was cooked for us on the beach Castaway-style, by Joey's boatman Raymond, (who did a fine job) with chicken, fish, prawns, rice and salad, and fruit for dessert.
I'd definately recommend this as a great way to get around the island, do some sightseeing and enjoy some peace and quiet, as well as delicious local food. Check out Captain Joey and his Red Pirate's ship at the cosy little Red Pirates pub, after boat station 3.

We did the same thing! Rented a boat for the entire day and bought lunch and beers. How much did you have to pay? I think we where overcharged a little

Spending the whole day from morning till evening to try flying fish, banana boat, walking under water and sailing. None of us had ever tried flying fish before so we just believe when we're told that the six of us could all sit in one flying fish. Later, when I came home to Indonesia, I saw on TV how people do flying… Day 4
