We had used two full sunbathing on the beaches near Sines and then we thought that it was time to use a day on something else. Two week trip, starting in Lisbon, renting a car and going south. then by train to Madrid, Pamplona, and Barcelona, and points in between....

So after a 2 week taper and an extended period of bricking it the event has finally arrived I left work about 3pm on Friday, possibly a bit early, and flew over to Lisbon, taking in an hour of so of cricket in the BA lounged. For two weeks we toured with the car through the south of Spain and Portugal. The weather was fantastic! We've seen a lot of things and we liked it very much. We took a cheap Easyjet flight from Basel to Malaga.

I lived and studied in Granada, Spain. I spent time traveling around and soaking in the language. We tried to get out every weekend in the surrounding hills, mountains, beaches since bus fare was cheap and locals were friendly and wouldn't speak English:)
