Sagada, Philippines -› -› …
We made it to the the bus terminal 10 minutes before 7AM, just in time to catch the second trip to Baguio. It was truly hard to leave what I believe is one of Philippine’s most beautiful places but for sure, I will make my way here again in the future.

Sunrise is about 4:30am in Sagada. I only know this because that’s the time the cockerels
start crowing. They seem to have their
circadian rhythms in check here without 24 hour lighting upsetting the
balance. Noisy bastards. Luckily I fell back to sleep with the aid of

After our Batad experience, our group, 4 Filipinos and 4 Polish hired the same jeepney that brought us to Batad. This time it will bring us to Sagada…

I went to Baguio with 3 of my college friends for the flower festival. It was supposed to be a trip for the flower festival alone but we decided to continue our adventure to a very remote area in the Mountain Province where Philippine's largest cave is situated. We traveled more than 10 mountains in less than 3 days with a Toyota Revo (I can't imagine how the car survived our trip!) LOL!

Sagada is one of the coolest places in the Philippines which is located in Mountain Province. This place made me missed my second home, Baguio City, which is also one of the coolest cities in the Philippines. I enjoyed the trip, the sights and the people I've met.

From Banaue, it was a 3 hour trip to get to Sagada. The road leading to Sagada winded along the side of the mountains. At least we weren't in danger of getting lost, it seemed like it was the only way to go. A very tall statue of Mother Mary marked the border of Ifu…

My Sagada vacation was a series of good timings, coincidences and surprises. At the start of the week, I was able to finish the bulk of my office tasks and settled things the best that I could so I won’t be bugged by any unfinished tasks, at least that was my “gut feel”. I was ready to unrave…

Early in the day, (5:30) i have to be on my way to the hotel of Agnes and Joel. The three of us are going together to Sagada on board ZATie, the ever reliable Honda City of Agnes (can you believe it, a traditional car traversing the landslide-filled mount Polis). The "highway" if you can call it th…
