STARBUCKS in the PHILIPPINES! May 05, 2009
normally i wouldnt write anything about starbucks. but this situation made it very special.
when i was still living in the philippines, i usually go to "figaro" for coffee because they make it really good, unlike fast-food style cafes, but starbucks in the philippines is a good excemption because it is the easiest meeting point for friends! as me and ben where in the philippines for 3 weeks, if i am not mistaken we went to starbucks about 5-6 times! lol - BUT its not our first choice to have coffee or to relax and chill but to meet friends and meeting points for travbuddies! like what ive said, it is the easiest to find because every people you ask where a nearest starbucks is, they would point you in that direction. plus - i really like the service in starbucks - not only that but also fastfoods in the philippines because the service is very personal, even security guards are polite. they would call persons "maam" or "sir" but i dont want to be called like that lol - but it is very different in europe - where the service is cold and stiff. so if ever you are in the philippines that you want to meet travbuddies or set up a meeting point, i really recommend starbucks - because its the easiest to find! Part of the i'm crashing like a tidal wave that drags me out to sea. travel blog |
