A typical Japanese sento May 04, 2016
Do you know sento? It's a public bath in Japan. Sento can be found all over Japan. As there are many volcanos in Japan, there are many onsen(hot springs) bubbling up in various places. Sento is not a natural hot spring. It is an artificial recreation facilities. Japanese people like to take a bath together in a big bathtub. Sento and hot spring are divided into two parts. One for men, and the other for women. You must wash yourself at a bathroom before you enter a bathtub. And you must not enter your towel in a bathtub. In general, a tatto is not welcomed in Japanese public baths/hot springs. Admission fee is cheep and conveniently located, so this Ryusen ji no yu is very popular. You will enjoy a rare and valuable experience. Taking photographs of sento is of course forbidden. If you are interested in a Japanese public bath, look at the above-mentioned homepage please.
