Well, this airline needs no introduction if you live in Euroland. The airline with the cheapest tickets and deals (if you book ahead) but a lot of people don't know is that it has the newest fleet of Boeing going in Europe, and more aircraft is on order. They also have the best on-time record and don't lose a lot of luggage at the same time!
Their chief execuative maybe barmy with new ideas, but he has brought a lot of people together, and has flown people who have been anable to afford air travel before and taken them to new places. The staff are not to bad, and sometimes have given better customer service than other airlines! Food and drinks are pricey and coming soon they will be charging £1/€1 to use the toilet and you will be able to use mobile phones on the aircraft as well (at their rates!) Even though not many flights are based at major airports, Ryanair do fly to airports not too far from the city and do have onward connections to the major city with either bus and trains (for example, London Stansted, Frankfurt Hahn, Roma Ciampino and Brussels Charleoi!) They do fly to some major airports like London Gatwick, Nice, Madrid, and Berlin. If you looking for a cheap deal, always check out Ryanair! |

Cheap in every way! May 26, 2009
I flew Ryanair for the first time from France to Dublin. I was unaware of the luggage restrictions. As this was my 4th flight on a 4 week vacation, I was most definitely over the limit! They charged me a ridiculous 180 euros! The seats were small, you have to buy your own water, the employees were rude and the entire experience was less than pleasant. If I do choose to fly Ryanair again, I won't pack much and I'll make sure to drink water before I board the plane!

So, I headed into an internet cafe and searched RyanAir. There was a flight leaving at like 6 AM the next morning for Glasgow, and it ended up costing about $100. It could have been much worse, so I booked the flight. I grabbed some dinner somewhere and then caught a bus to the airport… Goodbye Ireland :( |

We woke up at 8am to get to the airport and then took our first Ryanair flight. Ryanair is Europe super, super budget airline and has a reputation like you would expect: hassles, uncomfortable, sometimes outright scary. All and all I didn't think it was a horrible flight and I don't like flying, period. We got to Dublin… Dublin Arrival! |

I almost died of heat exhaustion on my Ryanair flight over
to Dublin. I tried really hard to make my suitcase weigh no more than
the restricted 15 kg by wearing both my coats and carrying as many
extra pieces of hand luggage as possible. Amazingly, they didn't charge
me when my suitcase… Isn't it grand |
