This might seem like a foolish advice, but if you're going to the ryanair airport make sure that the bus/train really goes to the Glasgow Prestwick Airport instead of the Glasgow International Airport. I made that mistake that I just hopped on the first bus that was going to the airport hoping that it would to both Glasgow international and Prestwick. I didn't know back then that the airports are far away from each other. Unfortunately, it went only to the Glasgow International Airport and because the last bus to the Glasgow Prestwick Airport had left already I had to take a taxi there, which costed £60!
