A bottleneck for budget travellers May 03, 2015
Bremen Airport is one of Ryanair's major European hubs. As a budget airline, they have a separate terminal where the service is much worse than in the main terminal, where the IATA airlines depart. With only two security stations operating, queues are much longer than usual. 45 minutes of waiting seems to be the minimum. Within the terminal, there is one bar and one shop (with alcohol and other travel needs). Seats are limited, as most passengers are standing in long queues. None of the ground staff was able to explain the boarding order, which caused unnecessary delay, because many passengers did not use the second door of the plane.

Border controls within the terminal are checking the passengers travelling to Great Britain and Ireland, which have to wait in a separate waiting zone.
