In Shanghai I just had to surrender because I actually had enough of the Shanghai kitchen - I needed some western food. My choise fell on Ruzzi in Fuzhou Rd. As soon as I entered I saw that I was not the only one with this idea - next to us where two Finish ladies attacking a pizza and some American girls talking there way through a soap. The guide book stated that this was an ok place but I must say that I was dissapointed.
The service was second to none as always in China - young and friendly people smiling and trying to do there best in order that you should have a pleasant stay. The food didn't taste close to any italian food I now - there was something empty about the food - like it flew over your taste bud without leaving anything for your brain to work with.
