Ruza is sleepy small town 110 km to the west from Moscow. The place itself was known since XIV century. Some churches, cathedral and picturesque estate of Dolgorukov just 15 min. drive from Ruza. Landscape with the lots of hills covered with forests with plenty of game here, bevare of wild boars and wolves in the winter. There is a big hunting place in 20 km from Ruza on the river bank. Winter holidays you can see a lot of winter fishing fans sitting on the ice. Summertime people visit Ruza for fishing, surfing at Ozerna and collecting mushrooms and berries. Fresh air and no ugly industrial pollution, just confectionnary (tasty sweets), bakery, and big dairy. Try famous local sour cream, curds and kefir.
