Rusty's Surf Ranch - Santa Monica - TravBuddy

Rusty's seemed to be a bit disorganized....could be that I had gotten there about 5 hours after our group had started the festivities and that they had a band performing on this particular evening.

When I got to Rusty's I was already pretty hungry so after all the greetings, I asked for a menu....actually 2....one for me, one for Eli.

I think I was a bit hungrier....I ordered a full dinner. Eli ordered the chicken tenders (not so tender)with honey mustard dressing (they did not have any....so he opted for bbq sauce. My penne with chicken and shrimp was definately better....Mel said that it needed more flavor.

I enjoyed my dinner and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good as well. Probably should have been there during the day. I wasn't able to see the ocean at night. At least not very well.

I don't know if I would go back for dinner, but it is an especially good place to meet up with friends.
