Russian Scorpion

The Russian Scorpion is a Russian submarine docked in Long Beach, CA, right next to the Queen Mary. There is a gift shop you can browse around in, then if you like, you can walk through the submarine. The self-guided tour is $10(USD) per person. There were 4 of us that day, including a military member, which meant we each got a dollar off discount. But once the lady heard my husband was military and my father-in-law was a retired police officer, she let all 4 of us walk through for free. That was really nice. The submarine was neat to see. It's not an everyday sight (unless you're in the navy or something). You get to walk across the top and then through the inside. This is a real sub, so everything is small and narrow. If you have trouble getting around, you might not want to do this tour. If you have issues with claustrophobia, this probably isn't for you. Otherwise, it's a neat thing to see and something to do.
