When we turned up to the grand city of Volgograd (like London with its architecture) we were dissapointed to find we got turned away so many times at the hotels, because of our dress sense. Whats wrong with cargo pants and a T-shirt? Grrr.

Northern Europe: Moscow Travel Photos
posted by:
Mar 04, 2003 - Oct 10, 2003
I have divided Europe into 3 parts to be manageable to visit all of its countries and see the at least the main cathedrals, museums, and antiquities. This trip included, Russia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Luxembourg. I attended the ballet with Laura Bush and an opera with the Queen of Denmark. Neither one knew I was there. It took about 4 weeks and a lot of driving. Hope you enjoy the pictures, which I shall edit as I have time.

Every region (or even smaller communes) of Norway have its own website with a bunch of useful information for travellers (tips, maps, suggestions and many more) on many languages. The main problem during planning stage was not to FIND an information but to REFINE it=) As starting point for country overview we could recommend www.visitnorway.com and then decide which part of country (can be ...
