I guess traveling has always been a part of my life, since I took my first flight from Toronto to New York at the age of 3 months. Now it is my passion. Here are my travels done in the last 7 years, most it done in the last year and a half. Ill put up some more pictures when I get back to my apartment in Iowa City, due to the fact I have a slow internet connection here at work.

Kazan is the capital city of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, and one of Russia's largest and most beautiful cities. When being on a business trip in Cheboksary I've decided to go to Kazan for one day and just walk around this beautiful city.

My first visit to Europe, Summer 2003, and studying at the Helsinki School of Economics in Mikkeli, Finland. We traveled around Finland, crossed waters to Estonia, hopped on a train to Russia and a cruise to Sweden.

Visiting all the port cities of the baltic was a chance of a lifetime. Eating Swedish meatballs served by attractive waitresses, trying reindeer in helsinki, cruising through the canals in st. petersburg, all of it was a time i'll never forget. surprisingly, tallinn, estonia, was one of the most amazing cities i've been to because of the beauty of both the land and the people.

The first time I came to Moscow, it was the day of Medvedev's inauguration, so everything Kremlin-related was shut. I was, thus, only able to see the Kremlin from a distance and where I was positioned, I wasn't able to see St. Basil's Cathedral. So essentially, this commemorates my first trip …

Dubna is a small town at the upper Volga known mainly for its famous center of nuclear research which was established there in the 50's. Today it is a cosy town which admires a visiting Muscovite with its fresh air, lots of green areas, breathtaking views at reservoir and Moscow channel - and perfectly slow pace.

I went to Moscow first of all to see Russia, because i believe it's an interesting country. Besides that i also have friends there who i really wanted to meet again. After they invited me, there was no one stopping me.
