I have never been in such a cold place. Wow.

Several photos from my trips lately to the great city of Moscow. The only bad memory I have was my 30 hour delay at the airport just before xmas. My visa was expired during the delay and I was not able to leave the airport for my hotel. Finally I got my visa extended for one day and arrived at the hotel @ 4:00 where we all were going straight to the bar  One of my worst hangovers ever….. Thank God we still have the pictures…

The presidium Kremlin is a very impressive place. It definitly worth visiting. Inside it is like a city into the bordless Moscow. It has museums, churges, squares but some of them are hard to visit. Take at least a day to can see everything.

i feel like i have only reached the tip of the iceberg. there are soo many more places i need to visit.

Memorial museum of Alexander Block, the Russian poet. A perfect day trip to escape from Moscow at the weekend.

My first visit to Europe, Summer 2003, and studying at the Helsinki School of Economics in Mikkeli, Finland. We traveled around Finland, crossed waters to Estonia, hopped on a train to Russia and a cruise to Sweden.

Back when it was still the USSR, during my first trip around the world at the age of 23, I travelled from Berlin to Hong Kong by rail.....

I guess traveling has always been a part of my life, since I took my first flight from Toronto to New York at the age of 3 months. Now it is my passion. Here are my travels done in the last 7 years, most it done in the last year and a half. Ill put up some more pictures when I get back to my apartment in Iowa City, due to the fact I have a slow internet connection here at work.
