Running Track in Manggar Balikpapan

I stayed in a housing compound in Manggar Area called PMC (Pantai Mentari Compound). Manggar is suburb - indutrial area of Balikpapan town, with lots of heavy industry offices and bases concentrated here.

In front of the housing complex, there are several lane going to the hills and small villages, interconnecting to another lanes. This made it a perfect route for evening or morning hash.. with clay path edged by weeds, bushes and trees. Some area will be exceptionally muddy after raining, but made a very fresh experience to run in the morning with the dews still hanging on the leaves and grass and the sun rays start shinning.
