Rundetaarn Copenhagen Reviews

NEWAFRICA design from Africa south of Sahara Press - the world’s first exhibition on cutting edge African design.
The exhibition presented 30 designers of 12 nationalities addressing issues such as: cultural strength and identity, empowerment, sustainability and low-cost housing, improving living conditions through design.
Although I dunno much abt African Designs, I did enjoy to see all the "Art Pieces" showcased. It basically categorized into Fashion, Grphics, Furnitures (pix attached), Life-improving products such as a hand-driven radios and condoms with built-in applicators. (got some fotos of it as well)
u know wat? I luv the poster the most amongst all showcased in the exhibition. Finally, I find that the same graphic applied to a T-shirt design for Comme des Garcons , by Daddy buy me a pony. (No wonder?? I used to a Fashion Marketing Person, it tells wat? hhaa....great sense in Fashion. (hhee....sorry, It shouldn't a right/ normal things I do. I m basically quite a humble person indeed. :D hhee..)
Anyway, I started to aware of South African Design after inspirated by this Exhibition. It made me believed that "Hot Designs are just Around the World".
Different exhibitons carry out throughout the year. Just drop by and check if you are visiting here - Rundetaarn, Copenhagen. (No additional charges other than the admission fee for Rundetaarn)
