Ruhengeri is a small town which most travellers stay here just one day before their Gorillas Trekking. Due to this reason, the people here find foreigners like me so interesting. You would feel like being a celebrity with everyone staring and smiling at you.

Staying in Ruhegeri during a chuch election means a lot of drums playing all the time. But going out for the gorilla hike makes it unik. Then falling asleep New Years Eve in a African nightclub just ads a little twist to the whole day.
