Ruen Thai
Ruen Thai Reviews

When you don't particularly like potatoes, living in a country where potato is well-loved and cooked in 100 different ways can be a struggle and an everyday dilemma. Thank goodness there's RUEN THAI, a thai restaurant in the heart of St. Patrick's Street in Cork. And I must say, the food is VERY VERY GOOD. My favorites include Ground Chicken in Basil leaves (spicy! gooood!), Beef with Brocolli in Sesame Oil and Oyster Sauce, Chicken with Mixed Vegetables in Chili Oil, and the super yummy Seekroang Mu or pork ribs as appetizers. Their tom yum is really good too. And the staff is really nice. :) The food can be quite expensive if you eat there for dinner (15-29 Euros per dish, 3 Euros per serving of white rice) but they have lunch specials from 12-3 every day where they have a list of set lunch meals you can choose from (dish + rice + coffee or tea) It costs only 10-12 Euros. Also, if you get food for takeaway, the prices are way way cheaper. Because of Ruen Thai, I don't even cook anymore, I just get takeaways all the time.:p haha. It's that good, and yeah I'm lazy.
If you go to Cork, you should definitely try it. :) |
