Ruby's Inn Cowboy's Buffet and Steak Room Bryce Canyon National Park Reviews
delicious lentil soup and tender, juicy steaks Jan 04, 2012
We weren’t eating decently for the past days so on the 4th day of the road trip we decided to splurge a little bit for dinner while at Bryce Canyon. The only restaurant opened at that time is the Ruby’s Inn Cowboy Buffet and Steak Room. We’ve been walking a lot for the past few days so we felt we needed chunks of protein source! We wanted to have some steaks so it was the right place.
It was around seven o’clock in the evening and the restaurant seemed like a deserted place. It could be either every person in that place had their dinner already or there were not a lot of people in that area around winter time. Whatever it was, we were glad we had the restaurant to ourselves.
We were seated by a nice girl who also was the one who took our orders. We ordered steaks with mashed potatoes and it also came with unlimited servings of soup, salad and rolls. They have a buffet table and salad bar that’s almost empty but the girl hurriedly filled the serving containers with food. I must admit their lentil soup was really delicious which we didn’t go for one or twice trip but several trips! The steaks were tender and juicy with a little bit of fat on its edge -- just the way I like my steak to be!
We spent about $20.00 per person excluding drinks. We only ordered two cups of soda. The costs were quite pricey for us at least but there’s really no other place to eat nearby. Besides we wanted to have a heavy dinner so, it worked just fine for us.
And there is no need for reservation.
