The Best Strüdel in the World! Aug 30, 2008
Looking for something small to eat in the Budapest Castle area, we came across this little place near the Labyrinth.
Right outside a passage was a sign that read "Hungarian Home Made Cakes and Snacks", so ofcourse that triggered our interest.
The place itself was small, but it smelled like heaven. Not sure what everything was, we went for something that looked like pizza. We got some coffee to go, since there was no place to sit inside, and found a bench in the passage where we sat and ate our little lunch.
But we had seen the strüdels and figured we'd treat ourselves to a little more, so we bought the cherry filled strüdel, which was absolutely delicious.
I can very much recommend this place. The food is positively to die for, dirt cheap and the 2 girls who ran the place were so friendly. Definately a hidden treasure.
