Not everyone is interested in horses, but if you want to see horses dance then it is worth a visit to the Royal School of Equestrian Art. (Dressage)

The horses are amazingly beautiful and move with unbelievable grace for such large animals. It is like watching ballet! The horses do these amazing jumps on the spot where all 4 of their hoofs leave the ground.

The horses are of the Andalusian breed. If anyone saw the movies Lord of the Rings, Gandalf rides a white Andalusian stallion named Shadowfax.

The school is located in the center of Jerez which is an hour south of Sevilla, Spain. The school is well sign posted and easy to find. They have performances you can attend which I think are around 25-30 Euros or you can do a tour (less than 10 Euros) of the facility where you will see the horses and possibly see them training, as well as the museum. It is a good idea to book on their website to ensure you get front row seats to the shows!

I do not think they allow photography during the shows due to the distraction for the horses. But you can take pictures outside and in the stables.
