East Meets West in Brighton Nov 08, 2008

This is definitely worth seeing. Admission is around 6GBP and no pictures is allowed but it is a must see if you are in Brighton. It was designed and made for the Regent back then and it was like a fantasy escape place. It was designed to resembled places from the far east such as India, China, etc. The dining room chandeliers is one of the most gorgeous I ever seen and the dining area is beautiful. The tour itself is probably an hour max if you listen to everything on the headset otherwise a good half hour would take you through and you can experience all the architectural significance that made Brighton what it is.

Pavilion. The Royal Pavilion designed by John Nash was SOOOOOOOOOOO cool. I’d been to quite a few castles since I’d been to Europe, and... well, okay, so its a palace, not a castle, but STILL, it was way cooler than pretty much everything… Brighton rocks! (Ah! TERRIBLE pun!)

On our way to the Royal Pavilion, we saw people wearing costumes of doctors, mother earth, nurse, etc. Hehee they looked funny and cute. My classmate Mikey and I were left behind by the group so we explored some of the places a bit and got into the scene of a violin… Believed to be the "Gay Capital of England?"
