Royal Hotel Bangkok Sep 25, 2010
Royal Hotel is an old hotel in Bangkok. The location is not the best, there is busy road right in front of the hotel, but there is a lot of tuk-tuks who are waiting ”just for you”, so its not a big problem...:-) The staff is very friendly, and will help you if you need any help or advise.

When you book a room, you get a breakfast ticket, for the "all-you-can-eat" breakfast...:-)

There are security guards and security boxes in the lobby. There is a small swimming pool, but its not often you see the sun shines, it is very stuffy at the pool area.

This place must once have been really really nice. Nowadays it is an ageing but still nice place to stay. A minute from KSR, a couple of minutes from the grand palace gice it a great location. Costing around 1200 THB for a double room with breakfast. It has 24 hour room service, a pool, a chinese restaraunt, a coffee shop, a barber and a travel agent. This is a nice alternative to staying in one of the more upmarket places on KSR and for a little more Baht you get a much nicer experience. Also known as the Ratanakosin hotel. Well worth it.
