Royal Botanical Garden Dec 08, 2014
A marvelous garden which opened in 1846 close to the center of Melbourne. Located between the Yarra river, St. Kilda Road, Domain Road and Anderson Street and not far from Flinders Street Station with tram number 8 going to the other end of the garden.

Very pleasant to stroll between the trees, ponds and flowers and having a rest here and there.

Free entry.

Also near is the Shrine of Remembrance, remebering those who died in the war of 1914-1918.

From Flinders Street Station you can take a tramway.

The garden is a wonderful experience whilst visiting in the city of Melbourne and its Free. Nicely situated in close proximity of Flinders Street train station so you can catch a connecting tram down to the RBG. It can be full of flowers in Spring and filled with exciting colours in Autumn. A good place to take photos or enjoy a light pinic on a sunny day. Good way for you to keep fit whilst on holidays, so put a side a few hours to walk around the garden.
