The Roxy was something i really looked forward to when i was in prague... but it was kind of dissapointing. I was there on drum/bass night and everyone was tripped out on something, dancing towards the DJ. The atmosphere was pretty cool tho. I would try it again if i was back there.

Roxy is one of the more "Czech" places to go at night in Prague. I went twice over the course of two months and had a blast both times. The first time was very techno, house, and mixed with some jungle beats. The DJs were good, and the dance floor was always hopping. They have a very nice bar staff, and were even giving away free champagne. The second time I went, it was reggae night, and they had great DJ that took my requests. The people are always nice, and going out in Prague is great because even if you think you won't belong, you will. Everyone has fun doing their own thing and it's the opposite of America were you should be worried about everyone else. Closer to Stare Mesto Nemesti it is on Dlouha.

We stayed at what I think is a pretty decent hostel (Traveller’s beside Roxy’s ) in the heart of Prague, or as my friends call it the “welfare in”, but all in all I would recommend it to folks that are on a budget. Less than 1 hour after arriving, we are walking around with some nice… Prague - Let the gong show begin... |

I headed to a place called ROXY a kick ass club not too far away. Here I met people from all over, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden, who were partying until the place closes... Now thanks to the exchange rate being sooo generous, I could have many drinks, absynth, vodka… New Years Celebration in Prague!!! All Night Long :) |

But hey , Im not the average joe ;)We headed to Roxy Nightclub. It was a rave party with people pushing drugs and dancing like crazy. Nothing spectacular. Was here for 4hours untill we took the Metro Home again... I went up to the room and packed and headed straight out to the airport. Better being… Prague |

After the pubs, we walked to club Roxy, and on the way we saw a crazy door with downward-facing heads decorating it. I got my friend to pose as if he was going to climb it, and then I got a photo of the heads themselves--very eerie. At the club… One party before I go |
