Rossopomodoro Reykjavik Reviews
Rossopomodoro Jan 01, 2010
It's worth noting htat average means average for what I spent in Reykjavik; the whle meal including drinks came to about the equivalent of £30 a head.
Rossopomodoro is, on a little research, an internaitonal chain of Italian restaurants. I don't know if all of them are this good, because in general the quality of the ingredients in Iceland appears to be incredible.
The food here was excellent, with lovely fresh squid and meat, and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was prompt. The decor was pleasant and the restaurant was warm without being stuffy, whihc is important in Iceland in the middle of winter.
The pizza looked great, but I wasn't in a pizza mood.
Well worth a visit.
