Fairytale Artsy Castle Apr 25, 2011
One of Copenhagen's more fairytale-like castles right in the centre of the city. Built by King Christian IV in the 1600's in a Dutch renaissance style the castle is now full of paintings and royal artifacts. They also show some of the royal rooms and a porcelain and weapons collection from different princes/princesses. It is also possible to see the beautiful Danish crown jewels. Generally it's a beautiful castle with a lot of history to show and if the weather is good, The King's Garden is the perfect place for a slight rest before continuing your tour of Copenhagen.

Forget Rosenborg Slot enjoy the park! Jun 04, 2011
I stayed for three weeks in Copenhagen and this was easily the highlight of my trip and extremely repeatable. Whenever the weather was just right the entire Danish population takes advantage and migrates to the park in which encompasses Rosenborg Slot, so bring a couple of beers and your ipod and lay out and drink.
