Rosemount Hotel London

Stayed here, as had left it too late to book a hotel in Twickenham (for the rugby).

It was cheap - £55 for a twin room. The actual room itself was fine, the shower-room was very small - had to manoeuvre around to get back out of the door.

Staying there on a Friday or a Saturday is not a pleasant experience, as there's a nightclub nearby that makes a lot of noise; then you get the drunk, loud girls screeching at 4am.

Breakfast was poor. £8 for a full-English should have been proper sausages, not compressed-sawdust-tasting ones. The tomatoes were cold as well.

If you sleep soundly and don't mind the dodgy neighbourhood - then you'll like it.
